I have some spine problems such as scoliosis and bulging/herniated discs in the middle/lower spine. For the past few months, my right hip joint has been aching constantly, however walking makes it even more painful. Sometimes the pain radiates down my thigh, knee, etc. I have had two cortisone injections recently, but it has not helped much. The orthopedic specialist I see thought it might be bursitis, or caused from my back problems but has not offered other treatment options. I have not had a general doctor for years. I m very healthy and have no other health problems/concerns. I do not take any medications except a multi vitamin and calcium because I m female, small boned, and 58 years old. I have never had any surgeries.
