Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Yes. I have a constant pain in my neck area. Left side. No matter what i do it is always achy. I tried elevating my head. Pillows between my head and shoulder sometimes no pillow to try to get comfortable. I am age 53 and this have been going on for a while now. I started an aspirin regime thru my doctor a couple of months ago. I realized that it has gotten worst since. Could it be a blood clot?
Do have any history of injury or trauma to the neck. Common causes of pain in the neck are trauma, strain, sprain during a workout, Longstanding computer work, spondylosis, nerve compression. You can take a tablet aceclofenac. Do x-ray neck, MRI neck. Do physiotherapy as advised. Take proper support bellow neck. I will suggest you review here with detailed history or consult with orthopedician with reports.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards, Dr. Shyam B. Kale
