What Causes Constant Pressure In Head, rise In Heart Rate And Dizziness?
for the last month i have been feeling very strange, pressure in my head, feeling like im living in a dream, and at night i cant sleep beacuse im constantly worrying i am going to die, my heart starts beating fast and i get really dizzy and have hot/cold flashes.
The problem, you are dealing with, is panic disorder. The symptoms, you are dealing with are typical of this disorder. Hence in my opinion, you should consult a psychiatrist for proper evaluation and treatment accordingly. Generally, this type of disorder needs medicines and/or psychological treatment.
Medicines may belong to SSRI, SNRI or benzodiazepine group. Psychological therapy is mainly in the form of Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT). CBT mostly aims at reducing the frequency of attacks as well as severity of symptoms. CBT goals around coping skills by changing negative thinking pattern and unhealthy behaviors.
Still, all this is needed to be done under guidance of a psychiatrist, who will also monitor the progress of the treatment or any need for some change in the form of treatment, which may be indicated.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
