What Causes Constant Pressure In The Urinary Bladder Despite Taking Flomax?
I have been taking Flonax for an overactive bladder. Rather than suffering from incontenience I had urine retention but the Flonax was helping until two days ago. Now I am getting up every two hours because I can t empty my bladder completely. Today I am very uncomfortable because I can t empty my bladder when I go to the bathroom. I have Catherized in the past which gives temporary relief but would rather not if there is another way to relieve the pressure. Any suggestions. I am female
Sometimes the overactive bladder is triggered by some types of food such coffee or tomatoes. You can help yourself by avoiding food that trigger it. Also take Ibuprofen for pain. Best checked even for urinary track infection by doing an urine sample. Catheterization is an option at the end.
