What Causes Constant Pricking Sensation In Eye?

I have had a constant pricking in my eye for about 6 months I went to spec savers 6 months ago and the optometrist gave me a pad to heat an said I should apply it to t,he eye as well as eye drops, but it hasn t helped. He couldn t find any foreign objects in the eye.

Hello,

I think optometrist only cannot help, you need to see an eye specialist. If no foreign object, then it might be related to irritation and blood vessels of the eye, possibly from allergies. Continue warm compresses, rinse eyes with chamomile tea , and apply the eye drops until you see the eye specialist.
