What Causes Constant Ringing In Ears?

Since a month ago I am feeling continuing ringing or buzzing in my two ears.
My ears and eating capacity were checked and they look normal, however no medium earn analysis has been yet done.
I also feel neck pain, not very severe, and some tremble in my left leg, very internally in the upper part, it is not shown outside, it is like a vibration.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello dear,

There is a connecting tract (known as Eustachian tube) between the nasopharynx & middle ear through which infection can spread to ear.
Also obstruction to this Eustachian tube, secondary to an upper respiratory tract infection, sinusitis, cold & congestion, can lead to ear pain/ringing sounds by causing un-equalisation of pressure between the nasopharynx & middle ear.
The neck pain and trembling of leg can be explained on the basis of fluid and electrolyte imbalance.

Management includes:
1. Antihistamine preparations like Allegra.
2. Decongestant nasal drops.
3. Antibiotics based on culture & sensitivity reports.
4. Warm salt water gargle.
5. Steam inhalation.
6. Maintenance of adequate hydration & nutrition status of the body.
7. Protection from cold, dust & other allergens.

Wish you good health & a speedy recovery.
Take care.
