What Causes Constant Sharp Pain In The Upper Abdomen?

Hi, may I answer your health queries right now ? Please type your query here... I have been having a pain the upper part of my stomach for the past two weeks when I lay on it, what is that caused from. I have been having sharp pain through out the day as well in the same area.

You can try the following advice:

1. Tablet Rabeprazole 20 mg once daily, 30 mins before breakfast, for a week.
Have lots of fruits and vegetables.
Drink plenty of fluids, avoid alcohol and smoking if you do.
Avoid oily, fried and spicy food.
If the symptoms persist, please consult a gastroenterologist.
