What Causes Constant Smell And Taste Of Blood?

I have been smelling and could taste blood like now some time it s just for a few minutes sometime for hours. I don t have an headache or any pain just the smell and taste and this has been happening for the last couple of days , I m 48 yr.old female

Hello,
You may have some small amount of bleeding in your nose or sinuses causing this. I would try using some nasal saline spray in both nostrils 4-5 times daily for a week or so and see if this takes care of the problem. If not see your doctor.
