What Causes Constant Soreness In Left Nostril?

My left nostril has been sore for about two months. It's occasionally stuffy and a tiny bit of blood when I stick tissue in there. I am worried that it could be cancer. What could this be. I saw an ent 3 months ago for a sore throat and he looked in my nose and everything was fine.

I have gone through your query and can understand your concern..

As per your complain soreness in left nostril along with occasional stuffiness and blood can be due to infection in the left maxillary sinus that can lead to inflammation of the lining of nasal mucosa leading to soreness and bleeding on even slight stimulation..
I would suggest you to consult an Otolaryngologist and get evaluated and he can advise you Nasal Endoscopy and PNS View of sinuses and it can help in ruling out the exact cause of the soreness and treatment can be planned accordingly..
As of now you can take anti-inflammatory medicine like Advil for relief from inflammation as well as use steroid nasal sprays..
Avoid picking the nose again and again to check for blood.
The symptoms does not look like cancer so do not worry about it..
