However, if it persists, then I would advise you for an ultrasound of the abdomen along with a clinical assessment by a general surgeon in your area to rule out any intra abdominal pathology. In case you are sexually active, you might hage to go for a serum HCG to rule out a pregnancy. Till then you could go for an anti spasmodic drug along with a proton pump inhibitor drug for a symptomatic relief.
