What Causes Constant Sweet Taste In The Mouth?

Good evening, Doctor,
Lately I am experiencing a sweet sensation whenever I first put a bite of food in my mouth. Oddly, it doesn't matter what kind of food it is--salad, veggies, salmon, plain yogurt, whatever. Any ideas what might be causing this?

As per your complain sweet taste in mouth can occur due to common causes like Diabetes,throat infection, sinusitis,acid reflux, infection or inflammation of olfactory nerve, while certain serious conditions like Stroke can also be a cause..

It should be taken care of and you should consult an Otolaryngologist and get evaluated and he can do a thorough clinical examination and investigations like blood sugar levels, complete blood picture, throat swab culture, sinus x rays and also MRI scan can help in diagnosis and treatment can be done according to the cause diagnosed..
Treatment of the underlying illness can relieve the symptoms..

As of now you can maintain a proper oral hygiene.
Gargle with warm saline solution..
Do antiseptic mouthwash gargles..
Drink plenty of water..
Take a nutritious diet, take multivitamin supplements and chew more of raw fruits and salads..
