Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have had a slight pain in my throat, my left side, for about a year. It feels a bit like I m swallowing over something, and feels better when I m eating/just after eating. It also feels like a cold sensation when I breathe in through my mouth and nose. Couple things to note: I used to have terrible acid reflux and took Prilosec for a long time, but I stopped when I heard of recent studies on omeprazole and instead drink apple cider vinegar and water when I feel it coming on, which works I sing a lot and am do voiceovers professionally for work. This is more irritating than anything, and sometimes a little painful, like something might be raw in my throat. It s not gotten worse or better than when it started.
