What Causes Constant Tiredness And Frequent Fainting Spells?
i was put on synthroid and was on it approximately 2 years then moved, my new doctor told me i didn t need it and took me off of it, no explanation or anything! i feel very tired , malaise and i find myself passing out at times wondering hat just happened and why??? it only last for few minutes, but it has me very concerned. i can t seem to make myself get up and do the simplest chores anymore, just like before they put me on synthroid! what is the problem, in your opinion???
Synthroid is the trade name for levothyroxine. It is used for replacing thyroid hormones in the body, in hypothyroid patients.
With the symptoms that you have told, apparently, it seems that you must be hypothyroid, thats why you were put on synthyroid initially and thats why you feel better while taking synthyroid.
But history has to be supplemented with clinical exam and investigations. Without knowing about your initial thyroid profile and other relevant investigations, it would not be wise to draw any conclusion regarding whether you actually need thyroid hormone supplementation or not.
So I suggest you to see an Endocrinologist and have him review you clinical history and previous investigations, for appropriate solution to the problem.
Hope it helps..........
