Hi, thanks for posting your concern in the HCM.
I think you may have
sleep cycle disorder; certain other psychiatric disorders, e.g.,
depression, anxiety, or even emotional stress can cause similar symptoms.
I think you should consult a local psychiatrist for further evaluation and if needed you may need sedative-
hypnotic medications or other medicines to correct the sleep cycle disorder.
I need further information for evaluation-
1. Do you have a disturbed sleep, i.e. you wake up in the middle? Do you have
nightmares in your sleep?
2. Do you feel drowsy throughout the day?
3. Do you feel lack of concentration,
back pain and become irritable?
4. Do you have any current stress?
5. Do you have any visual disturbance, nausea or vomiting prior to your headache? Is the headache is unilateral or bilateral? Is it throbbing or pulsatile or dull aching or band-like?
And lastly, I would say
sleep hygiene is a very important thing. You should go for sleep at night everyday at a fixed time and the variation in time should not be more than one hour.
Please also
consult a psychiatrist.
