What Causes Constant Vaginal Itching?

I have a constant tingling, pins and needles feeling in my uterus, fallopian tubes and I think ovaries as well. When I spend time sitting ir standing it turns to a dull ache but mostly it is this itching that is driving me so mad I just want a hysterectomy, I cannot stand it. I have seen 2 doctors who didn t take any swabs or do scans they just prescribed me heaps and heaps of painkillers, steroids, injections, you name it. It doesn t actually hurt that much but they won t listen to me. I think it s an itchy vaginal infection that has spread right up inside but how can I find out and egt rid of this?

Hi,

A pelvic examination by a gynecologist and swab test should be done initially to rule out infections. Ultrasound examination preferably a transvaginal ultrasound to know the exact status of uterus also should be done. Avoid soaps and irritants to wash the genital area. Instead you can use just warm water. Using intimate wash is also good. You can also apply Clotrimazole suppository if yeast infection is positive.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
