Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
What Causes Constant Weakness And Tiredness After Treating Cancerous Tumor In Brain?
My husband, age 82 had a brain tumor 1 year and a half ago. He had some chemo and radiation. The MRI now shows the tumor is gone, but he is very tired and weak all of the time. He walks with a cane and drags his left foot. All movements are slowed down. He has an essential tumor. Do you think he will ever return to his normal state before the surgery?
He should get evaluated doing total blood count and biochemical blood balance. Also, he needs to get checked by neurologist to see if nerve damages happened during surgery which are most likely permanent.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Olgeta Xhufka, General & Family Physician
