What Causes Constipation After Discontinuing Alcohol Consumption?

Have cut back on drinking alcohol but now i am constipated. I used to be regular (at least twice a day) but now have not had a movement for 3 days. Am drinking bottled water and diet drinks throughout that day. Should i just buy some Senekot and see how that affects things, or is there a better solution?

Due to erratic diet activities you could be experiencing constipation. Take Tablet Dulcolax once a day for a couple of days. You should regain normal motion. Take diet rich in roughage like fresh fruits and green leafy vegetables.
