General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

The once a day frequency of stool is not considered constipation (which is absence of bowel movement for 3 consecutive days) Provided the consistency of the bowel movement is soft and not hard which may provoke straining at stool, there is nothing to worry about.

Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
