What Causes Constipation After Taking A Botox Injection?

My daughter(63) has had constipation for about six weeks now; she goes some, but feels like there is something in there that is not coming out. For incontinence she had botox injected into her bladder on September 13 of this year. She also has had a bladder sling for a couple of years. Is there anything there with these two that could have come free and caused her this problem?

Hi,

Injection Botox is safe and not associated with constipation. For relief take enough hydration and laxatives properly. Eat green leafy vegetables and whole fruit which contain a large amount of dietary fibre helps to relieve constipation.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care
