What Causes Constipation Along With Pulsating Feeling In The Ribcage?

I have an occasional pulsating feeling to the left of my right rib cage. It comes and goes every now and then. I am a 52 years of age female and very healthy. I road cycle 150 miles or more a week. It seems to occur when I ve been somewhat constipated.

Such types of feelings of palpitation are noticed in cases of flatulence dyspepsia. It is associated with constipation. It may also seen in hyperacidity state of stomach. When colon is empty then this feeling is very less or absent.
