What Causes Constipation Along With Skin Infection In A Child?
hello doctor, my daughter is 4 years old ... recently doctor told me to do AEC test bcoz she is not going toilet regularly and some skin infection so he suggestion to do this test the test count was 550 ( range is 40-440). pls doctor can you suggest me.... is this very danger for my daughter. ...
Your child is already suffering from skin infection & has a history of constipation. Since the AEC test reports show higher than the desired level, get your daughter get properly treated of the skin infection. Add fiber in her diet, give he plenty of juice, soups & water to help reduce constipation.
When she is not constipated & is cured of her skin infection, consider getting a repeat AEC test done. You should get a normal report & if you don't, it is a cause of concern. Get your daughter go through a thorough medical check-up.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Nupur K,
