What Causes Constipation And Burning Sensation In Stomach While Treating UTI?

Hello doctor,Few days back I developed gastric problem and it caused acute pain in the upper back.I took some tablets (superior form of rantidine).It relieved gas and the pain.But I developed constipation.Two days before,I got serious burning sensation in my upper stomach(probably, acidity) and gas.I took pantocid,vitamin b complex pills and tried citric soda and digene to reduce the acidity.But it did not reduce burning stomach and the gas associated with.Yesterday I consulted doctor(gyno) and she advised me to take urine test and confirmed that I have slight UTI.I am taking tablets for this from yesterday night.Though my burning sensation and gas has reduced little,it did not relieve completely.Also,I still feel constipated stools.I have taken two courses of pills out of six(also had an infection).Should I wait?Do I need to take any laxatives to get rid of constipation?

Thanks for contacting healthcare magic.

You have problem of constipation and burning sensation in stomach may be because of high dose of antibiotics.

Gastritis may cause abdominal bloting and pain problem.
You can take proton pump inhibitor drugs for gastritis problem under doctor's suggestion.

If you have constipation problem for long time than you can take psyllium for it.
Consent a physician for further treatment.
