What Causes Constipation And Severe Head And Neck Sweating?

I woke up this morning unable to have abowl movement then i began sweating around my head & neck. I tried sevearl times to check my blood sugar levals but i was shaking bad and had 3 errors on the meter. Finally. Just adked for my Lantus pen and injected 40. Instead of the usual 30 that i was instructed to do. After that with in a few minutes i was in the bathroom where nowi have been going regurally. But it is watery. Is this normal and what was happening to me? This first time i have experienced this. I have beeb a diebetic for around 4 years now type 2.

Hello,

The constipation is related to gastroparesis from diabetes autonomic neuropathy involving stomach and small intestine. The sweating head and neck indicates response of epinephrine and Norepinephrine as stress hormones from transient rise of blood sugar.

A systemic evaluation with necessary lab reports of HBA1c, fasting blood sugar and post prandial blood sugar are mandatory to fix the dose of Insulin on regular basis and prevent such future episodes.
