What Causes Constipation And Yellow Vaginal Discharge After An Appendectomy?

I m home from appendectomy I had on 3/28/17 and I haven t had a bowel movement yet. I also noticed I had a yellow pasty vaginal discharge today and smelled not so good. I am61 years old and post menopause. Should I be concerned and return beck to hospital for this? My inscsions are healing well but I have lingering numb pain in my lower right side.

Hello,

Please note that after every surgery there is some component of constipation.
So increase fluid intake.
Some patients develop vaginitis due to antibiotics used .
You must consult your treating physician.
