What Causes Constipation While Treating Anal Fissure?
Iv had an anal fissure/ a small lump just at the anal passage (exterior) and have been applying Shield ointment for almost a week. The stools are not hard, and am not constipated. yes , stressed ! my age is 65 yrs, female And weight is 72 kg. the swelling doesnt seem to subside. please advise.

As you explain the situation probably you should be seen by a specialist of the field a proctologyist because you need surgery given the fact that the ointment are not working any more.
