What Causes Constricted Pupils After Taking Percocet?

I have some concerns about the Percocet my boyfriend is taking after double bypass surgery. Is it normal for pupils to be very constricted with normal use of this medication? He s also a space cadet and has been very short tempered with family, which I ve read is normal after major surgery.

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

Yes, this is normal on Percocet. He should, however, be weaned off the drugs within a few days to a weeks time, to reduce the risk of addiction.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Anders Mark Christensen, General Surgeon
