What Causes Continous Bleeding Inspite Of Taking Contraceptive Pills?

I have been bleeding for nearly 12 weeks. I have had an ultrasound which confirmed PCOS. I am on a second type of contraceptive pill taking double dose a day. Yet I am still bleeding and have ovary and lower back pain daily. My doctor believes I might have endometriosis but to have the operation I will have to wait 3 months due to my health cover. Can you suggest anything to help stop the bleeding and pain for another 3 months? Thank you.
