What Causes Continuous Bleeding For A Month?

Hey there. So I have had my period since July 9th and it s still going on which is like a month now. Its not a heavy period, its actually very light but is still ongoing. Also, when I urinate and wipe sometimes the blood goes from red to brown. I have been on the nuva ring since February and have used it as directed and have never had a problem with it. I didn t know if that could be the reason I ve had my period for a month now. I also have been urinating more frequently. I do drink a lot of water everyday but have been for years so that shouldn t be the reason to my change in frequent urination. What could it be? Any answers are appreciated.
