What Causes Continuous Headache In A Child?

7 year old daughter has been complaining of headaches daily for 3 weeks and has been throwing up for the past 4 days sometimes she is running a slight fever but rarely. Everything she eats is coming up I am not sending her to school tomorrow, but I am unsure if this is something that is reason for a trip to the dr office or if it s a simple tummy bug.

Hello,

Since the symptoms lasted about three weeks, I think your daughter should be seen by the pediatrician. It may be an infection, but migraines also may be present in children.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
