What Causes Continuous Menstrual Bleeding?

Hi, I'm a heathly 42 female never had any kids, 170lbs, 5'5", just recently had an issue for the last 6 weeks of menstrual bleeding every other day sometimes heavy so I went in for a blood test and my wbc is 13.3 and my Neutrophils (absolute) is 8.2 still waiting the ultrasound results. Also my TSH number went up from 1.7 in Nov (prev been always below 1) to 3.03 on the 15th of June. Doc says I have to wait 3 weeks to get the blood retested, but trying to figure out what it might be in the mean time.
