Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
What Causes Continuous Pain In The Rib Cage Along With Night Sweats And Fatigue?
I have continuous pain in my rib cage, pinching feeling just below and centre where meets in the middle. I have had colonoscopy and gastroscope both down, huge amount of blood work, ct of pelvis, and all shows fine. Waiting on results for biopsy from gastro, also my bones hurt to where it has kept me from going to work. I lost about 13 pounds in the last six months, pelvis hurts. Wake at night from all these pains. Sweat when sleeping to the point of being soaked. Low energy and tire fast. Getting frustrated.
I strongly recommend you to wait until having the results. It seems that you are under anxiety due to the examinations you have done. The fact that all the examinations are normal is a good sign. You should not be worried so much. Wait calmly the result of biopsy. Try to have a good sleep and avoid coffee.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Jolanda Nikolla, Pulmonologist
