Hello doctor, currently a continuous ringing in my left year. How does it comes, and how to solve this problem. I have been with this problem more than a month. I consulted a ENT doctor, he says it will take time to settle down. But I'm concerned abt this. Please advise your suggestions.
I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..
As per your complain you are suffering from a condition known as TINNITUS.. It can occur due to a number of condition like Ear infections, ruptured ear drum, aucostic neuroma, trauma to the ear, blood flow problems like arterio-venous malformations, high blood pressure, nerve damage, multiple sclerosis etc..
As you have already consulted an ENT expert but still you are not convinced with the response you can either take a second opinion from another ENT and can ask the exact cause of the tinnitus.. The doctor may do a OTOSCOPIC EXAMINATION and advise you other investigations like blood culture, ear swab culture etc..
The treatment can be planned only once diagnosis is confirmed..
Hope this information helps..
Thanks and regards.. Dr.Honey Nandwani Arora..
