What Causes Continuous Spotting After Periods?

i have had bv in the past ...but already in jan and now ..i missed my menses in feb,got it in march and just finish on the 5 of april started on march 31..ive never had problems with my period they usually last for 4 days ..but this last time i finished on the 5th but continued to spot and still am. i got my percription for bv ..metz suppository 10 day.im worried about the bleeding is this normal..never had it before.
