What Causes Contractions Under The Ribcage?

I am having what almost feels like contractions on my right upper right side under the ribcage. I have been put on heart meds recently...plus pain killers for sciatica. This pain also feels like a burning sensatiion. I was just in the ER for my sciatica and will be getting an injection in my back next week. Can this pain I am describing be my gall bladder ? Never had this pain before and now experiencing it for the past several days?

* As per my clinical experience, the current presentation suggests there are various possible reasons for the contractions under the rib cage on right side as

- inflammation of the gall bladder
- liver issue
- some cases of acute gastritis or duodenitis
- others.

* I would like to assess the condition clinically with co relation of all medicines currently consumed to arrive at a particular conclusion.
