What Causes Cording Of Veins Under My Right Armpit?
Hello Dr. Rynne, For several weeks now I ve noticed cording of veins under my right armpit and stretching down to my hand. It s painful to extend my arm and reach for anything. It s especially painful when I try to pull up my body in any way. For some background I m a 65 year old male, fit, not over weight, and otherwise in good health. I ve been reading about possible causes and Hodgkin s disease seems to be an area of note because I have a couple of other possible symptoms. Thank you for your feedback. Regards, Daryl

Conditions like upper limb varicose and DVT has to be ruled out. Consult a general surgeon and plan for a venous Doppler.
