What Causes Cough And Bad Taste In The Mouth?

I am a 36 year old female, I ve had a productive cough that leaves a very bad taste in my mouth every time I cough. Along with the cough I ve had headache, body aches and a low grade fever on and off. My kids had influenza b right before I got sick so I know its probably what I have, but the cough has been hanging on for nearly 3 weeks now (with the bad taste) and I m wondering if I should see a doctor?

Hi there. Normally a common flu only lasts at most around 2 weeks ehen after that things should improve. Since the coughing continues and you have fever it is not a bad idea to visit your doctor for anexamination and then getting antibiotics if indicated
