What Causes Cough And Cold Along With Headache In A Child?
hi !!! My son is of 5+ years now. But he has always having the symptoms like cough, cold,occasionally headache, snizzing etc. for more than 1 year. Its found to be critic at night during sleeping. As the family history of my in-laws have cold related diseases, i think he has been genetically transmitted with. My brother is an allopathy dr and he has suggested to go for the test of eosinophilia. Kindly guide me, as i am quite bothered about it. regards mansi

From history it seems that having this type of problem since long and requires evaluation and investigations of his case.
One of the condition is called Eosinophilia as your brother rightly told.
Anothere one is Primary complex.
Go for,
1, complete blood checking like TC, DC, ESR and Eosinophil count.
2, Montoux test for primary complex,
3, x-ray chest.
After all report plan of treatment can be decided.
O)k and take care.
