What Causes Cough And Painful Ear?
my 6 year old daughter has had a cough since friday and painful ear, she is very thristy but cant eat much although she feels hungry. very lethargic and tired, waking up every hour and half with a coughing fit. i have been giving her ibrufen and anti histamine, she just doesnt seem to be getting any better.

From history it seems that she might be having severe upper respiratory tract infection mostly bacterial giving pain, fever and ear pain.
She might require one course of antibiotic medicine like Azithromicin for 3-5 days.
Give ibuprofen and cough syrup as needed.
