What Causes Cough And Shortness Of Breath Post Placement Of A Heart Stent?

i had a stint put in 6yrs ago i was also told i have heart disease i have a heart dr. i go to reg last 4 days or so ive felt fine but have had a cough and every now again shortness of breath could that be from the cigs or should i go to hospitol also have white flem come up when i cough
