What Causes Cough, Body Chills And Dizziness?

I had an EEG on Saturday, all was going fine. During the strobe light portion I started to cough, and get chills. After the test the technician still saw me shaking I said I was cold, she wiped my head with warm water and I felt better. Upon leaving my husband noticed I was walking like I was dizzy and for a few moments I felt like I HAD TO GAD AND I coughed. For the rest of the day I was not all there Was this a normal reaction, or could this mean I may have seizures.

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

It could be an upper respiratory tract infection. Consult a physician and get evaluated. Antibiotics have to be started at the earliest.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Shinas Hussain, General & Family Physician
