What Causes Cough, Headache, Weakness And Tiredness?

I have been experiencing a slight cough, mentally fuzzy, headaches, weakness, tiredness for about 4 weeks. I went to a walk in clinic because my Dr retired 2 months ago and I haven t found a new one. I was tested for strep, mono, had an X-ray, and an ekg. All were fine, they took 4 vials of blood and I won t get results for 4 days. What could they be looking for ?

Hi Dear,

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of cough, headache, weakness and tiredness which is due to viral infection as if fever episodes occurs twice in a day. Need not to worry it is a self limiting condition. You should take paracetamol at mild dose every 4-6 hourly. Take cough expectorants along with multivitamins. Take diet rich in fruits and green leafy vegetables. Four vials of blood must be taken for complete blood count. Do warm saline gargles on daily basis. Symptoms will resolve its own in 3-4 days. If symptoms keeps on persisting visit general physician once and get blood tests done and go for through examination and start treatment.
