What Causes Cough, Runny Nose And Sore Throat After Taking Remicade?

my son has spinal arthritis and is currently taking remecade infustions every eight weeks. He is now constantly coughing with a runny nose and sore throat he says nasal drains are running down his throat what is best solution for me to do should we go to the ER?

Hello,

No, I don't think your son's case is an emergency. I think you should send him to ENT doctor.

Meanwhile, until you see ENT doctor, I advise him to:

- apply the nasal saline solution to clear them out
- take oral antiseptic
- over the counter cough medicines
- take plenty of fluids (water, juice, tea)
