Hello,

There is no relation between hair loss and cough until unless major illness is the causative. Treatment of cough depends on the diagnosis. Possible causes are allergic or post nasal drip, GERD (Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease), allergic bronchitis or infection like pneumonia or et cetera.

Treatment may depend on the type of cough. Avoid cool drinks and freeze water, avoid cold environment.

Use water vapor inhalation and salt water gargling. Also, use tablet Monterleukast and Levocetirizine at night for five days.

If symptoms not improved, please consult your doctor, he/she will examine and treat you accordingly.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Penchila Prasad Kandikattu
