What Causes Cough With Fever And Stuffy Nose?

Age: 21, about 140, 5'6, no major sickness though i did have a long history of fighting the flu, at one point i was sick for months during my middle school.

It started out as a small fever, stuffy nose and such then it become a mild cough. After like one week, the fever somewhat disappear but then the cough got worst to a point where i was coughing multiple times, stop, then cough again multiple times. After a while it got better and i didn't feel sick for a whole day instead I had minor cough. But that the cough was back with a moderate fever and stuffy nose, it been like this for like four weeks. So I'm wondering what are some illness that cause it.
