What Causes Cough With Phlegm On Waking Up?

for the pastsix weeks I have had a cough that occurs in the morning on waking. It usually produces phelgm which is white going on yellow and I also have a metallic taste rise in my mouth whilst coughing. I had my gallbladder removed 2 years ago and where the laproscopy scars are is very red looking I also feel totally full up and bloated

Hello,

You may be suffering from acute bronchitis due infection/allergy. Sputum production may cause by secondary bacterial infection.

Avoid allergen, cool drinks, freeze water and smoking. Use bronchodilator or antibiotics under your doctor guidance and take tablet Alday dc twice a day for five days.

If symptoms not improved, please consult your physician, he/she will examine and treat you accordingly.
