What Causes Cough With White Frothy Phlegm?

I am female, age 63, not taking any regular medication, but for over a week I have had a loose chesty cough and runny nose. I have taken Asprin, and Manuka Honey as I have read Cough Linctus does not help. I have slight nausea and my head feels full. I took my temperature it was 35.2C and my cough is very loose with white frothy phlegm. My nose is not running as much, but I feel very concerned why I feel so bad. Is this normal?
