1. Clinical examination of respiratory system
2. Chest x ray with abdominal shield (to prevent radiation exposure to your developing baby?

Sputum culture to isolate the causative organisms and sensitivity report to guide effective antibiotic therapy.
4. Sputum examination for AFB (acid fast bacilli-bacteria causes
tuberculosis) because tuberculosis can also cause hemoptysis.
