What Causes Coughing Up Of Blood While On Xarelto?
I have been diagnosed with AFIB and have been prescribed Xeralto blood thinners and now I have been coughing small amounts of blood each morning. I don t know if its lung related or not, but my Dr. was supposed to arrange a pulmanalogist visit which hasn t happened yet and I think it getting worse. My fear is cancer. What do you recommend. I am 60 years old.

Xarelto may cause decreased clotting capacity lead to bleeding.
Blood in sputum also caused by infection, bronchiectasis or tuberculosis etc.Until examination is done it is difficult to say what it is.
