What Causes Coughing Up Of Blood?

Sir, I am coughing with blood particles coming thru sputums. TB report is negative. While taking deep breathe wheezing sound occurs. CBC test was done, only Monocyte Count is 0/cmm and Esnophil is 9%. May I have to go for lung cancer checkup. It is from last 4-5 days

he is having hemoptesis. you mean to say sputum for afb is negative. it should be repeated with overnight sputum. in case of TBloss of weight and eveaning rise oftemperature is equaly important. it can be obstructve respiratory disease.auscultation and x-RAY pa veiw chest tobe taken. acourse of systenic antibiotic like inj ampicilin 500mg im daily for 10days to be taken. no need for lung cancer checkup. now observe for progress.

It is not a matter of serious concern!

As per the problems discussed in your question, it is quite apparent that you are have some sort of allergic bronchitis..your airways are hyper responsive to certain substances, which might have produced the sputum and wheezing on deep breathing. Inflammation of the airways (bronchi) can result in some amount of blood getting mixed up with the mucus (sputum). Consult your physician for the proper assessment and management.Regards!
