What Causes Coughing Up Reddish Phlegm With Swollen Lymph Nodes?

I have swollen Lymph nodes in my neck, White Spots on my Tonsils, No fever , no body chills, no headache, on iberprophen or how ever you spell it , i also recently started coughing up (from throat) redish purplish phlem balls of sort... What does this all mean . I am also awaiting a strep culture at the hospital .

hello,thanks for your query, bloody sputum with lymph node enlargement,on brufen should be evaluated. it could be gastric ulcer, tuberculosis,or simple gastritis. kindly evaluate with an ent surgeon by doing x-ray chest, fine needle aspiration cytology and blood tests. hope i have answered your query. all the best. take care.
